Quando pensiamo al trench è normale volgere il pensiero al Re degli stessi, perchè diciamolo, da quando la maison portava ancora la S finale ad oggi, si è sempre distinta per questo iconico capospalla.
Io adoro i trench, ma debbo dire ad alta voce che, almeno qui nell'estremo nord est, non ha senso di esistere. Troppo caldo in estate, troppo freddo in autunno. Ma lo amo comunque.
Dopo anni passati con uno zara, ho finalmente trovato il trench della mia vita : longline, oversize, cintura , colore beige / taupe non troppo chiaro nè troppo scuro. Io lo volevo un minimo foderato, proprio perchè sono molto freddolosa.
Non ne avevo mai sentito parlare, ma il brand in questione si chiama ' The london Fog'. Su Amazon unica traccia della sua presenza.
In effetti lo si capisce dai dettagli che è un vero trench pensato davvero per la nebbia, il maltempo e tutto ciò che le immagini e i clichè inglesi evocano.
La fascia di prezzo di partenza è medio alta. Ma capisco introvabile ( a quanto pare non è proprio un brand adottato nel mercato italiano).
CARATTERISTICHE:
Escludo quelli sfoderati che per me sono davvero inutili, ok mezza stagione ma stiamo esagerando. Quindi NO lyocell che si stropiccia, no quelli troppo cheap o poco strutturati.
No trench corti ( SU DI ME NON APPREZZO, capisco che invece per alcune fisicità o altri gusti possano invece essere apprezzati), no troppo chiari, nè troppo scuri.
Consiglio gebardina di cotone, meglio se antigoccia ( il mio non lo è ma sto una crema).
Onestamente non apprezzo colori o tagli non classici, eccezion fatta per Il più bel trench mai 'avuto ' tra le mani, non a caso Margiela sfilata.

VINTAGE:
non sottovalutate il vintage per il solito principio che - come leggevo qualche sera fa nel libro della de Castro ( di cui vi parlerò meglio) i vestiti confezionati decenni fa , anche dei grandi magazzini, non erano quasi mai di scarsa qualità. Erano creati per durare, essere usati e tramandati. Oggi vige il principio opposto. Ecco perchè quasi mai troviamo il bottone di ricambio, la cucitura ben fatta, o quell'occhio di riguardo, che veramente oggi appartiene solo al mondo dei vestiti premium.
Belli veri sono quelli Aquascutum, ma credetemi che anche un semplice anonimo vintage a volte può stupire ( mai sottovalutare la sezione uomo ).
